Episode 1 Progress

So its official, I have just about everyone's lines sent in for Episode 1 of the series. Expect the pilot episode very soon! I'm really excited to share it with all of you!

Hello everyone! Its time once again for another exciting update and boy do I have a lot to share with you guys today!

Last Friday, the auditions for the series ended and I'm finally ready to reveal the full cast list for the series!

There's been a lot of excitement over the project so far. So much so, that a couple of VA's have actually already sent in their lines way before the official deadline! So if luck's on my side, Episode 1 might be coming out sooner than expected!

Another big thing to note too is that I've set up a YouTube Channel for the series and have made an offiical page for the show on Facebook. I'll be updating the blog soon with links for both. Until then, stay tuned for more updates!

Audition + Episode Progress

Time for the first official update for the blog. With only two days of auditions left, I figured I'd update on what I've been thinking of the auditions going on so far as well as progress on the Episode writing.

Auditions

Currently, auditions have been going rather well. Despite the 2011 series being fairly new, the auditions for the project have gotten the Abridged Series some buzz. Though I WILL admit, I have gotten a lot more male auditioners than I have female ones. Probably the hardest character to cast on the character list has been Cheetara. Her voice in the 2011 series is rather unique, so I wasn't expecting to get the best auditions for her until later on. On the other end of the spectrum, the easiest character to cast so far has been a tie between Tygra and Mumm-Ra. Still though, the casting for the project has been interesting and I can't wait to announce the full official cast this Friday!

Episode Progress

As far as the writing for the series goes, currently there are only 3 episodes that have aired so far. The script for Episode 1 is complete and I'm currently starting on Episode 2 and 3. I'm hoping to have both done by the deadline of the Auditions so that way the series can start production immediately. What's ironic about the deadline for the auditions is that it ends right after Episode 4 airs on Cartoon Network. Guess I gotta prepare myself for that too.
